15K Success: 1:33:03!

Ave Maria! Blessings on All Souls Day!

The Hot Chocolate 15K went really well this weekend. I had my best time ever for a distance longer than 4 miles: I ran the 9.3 miles in 1:33:03—averaging a 9:59 mile! It was a beautiful day for a race, and Rosemary and I really motivated one another to run hard—we finished within seconds of one another!

I ran into a couple of folks at the race who had read about TheNunRun, and they were kind enough to stop and chat with me. I received even more encouragement to keep running—both road races and toward my vocation as a religious sister!

I have no updates on the stolen backpack, but it is in God’s hands. Please continue to pray that this issue be resolved.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. If you haven’t done so, please consider donating to the NunRun Fund! Every penny helps me get closer to freely entering religious life! God bless and keep you!

  1. How much money have you managed to pay back on your student loans so far? I wonder if you could add a bar graph showing your progress to keep people motivated?
